Union Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Shri Pralhad Joshi inaugurated the ‘Depot Darpan’ portal, along with two digital platforms: ‘Anna Mitra’—a mobile app providing real-time operational data to Public Distribution System stakeholders, and ‘Anna Sahayata’—an advanced grievance redressal system aimed at enhancing transparency and responsiveness for PMGKAY beneficiaries.

📊 All-India Consumer Price Index Numbers for April 2025

The year-on-year inflation rates based on the Consumer Price Index for Agricultural Labourers (CPI-AL) and Rural Labourers (CPI-RL) for April 2025 were recorded at 3.48% and 3.53%, respectively, showing a significant decrease from April 2024 figures.


🐝 KVIC Celebrates ‘World Bee Day 2025’ with ‘Sweet Revolution Utsav’

The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) marked World Bee Day 2025 under the theme “Bee inspired by nature to nourish us all.” Under its Honey Mission, KVIC has distributed over 2 lakh bee boxes and colonies, leading to the production of more than 20,000 metric tonnes of honey and generating ₹325 crore in income for beekeepers. This initiative has significantly transformed the lives of farmers and rural communities.
